You must be at least 18 years of age to register as a School Owner or Instructor. Students may be 16 years or older (consistent with Indian motor vehicle law), provided a School Owner takes responsibility for data collected on their behalf.
School Owners register via the website (mydrivingschool.in/register) by verifying their phone number via OTP, completing a subscription payment, providing school details, and setting a password — or they may register directly through the mobile app using the same flow. Instructors and Students are added to the platform by the School Owner.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update that information when it changes. Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@mydrivingschool.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Each driving school may register only one School Owner account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits is prohibited.
School Owners are the primary data controllers for their school's data. By using the Platform, School Owners agree to:
Instructors may view and manage student records within their school. They must not access, copy, or disclose student data for any purpose outside of their teaching duties.
Students access the Platform to view their own class records, attendance, and fee information. Students must not attempt to access data belonging to other students or to the school's instructor or administrative records.

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may be referred to law enforcement authorities.
Access to School Owner features requires an active subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and feature inclusions are displayed within the app at the time of registration and renewal.
Website subscription payments are processed through Razorpay (UPI and other supported Indian payment methods). Subscription purchases made inside the mobile app are processed through Google Play Billing (managed by RevenueCat). By making a payment you also agree to the terms and privacy policy of the respective payment provider. We do not store full payment card or UPI credentials on our servers.
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen plan period. Payment is due at the start of each billing period.
Subscriptions purchased inside the mobile app via Google Play Billing renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel auto-renewal at any time in the Google Play Store app under Subscriptions. Subscriptions purchased on the website via Razorpay do not auto-renew — School Owners must renew manually before expiry. We may send renewal reminders but are not obligated to do so.
All subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced, except where required by applicable Indian consumer protection law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@mydrivingschool.in within 7 days of the charge.
If a subscription lapses, the school account enters a read-only state. Data is retained for 90 days after expiry. After 90 days without renewal, the account and associated data may be permanently deleted. We will send at least one email notification before deletion.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Price changes take effect at the next renewal and will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
All student, instructor, and school records entered into the Platform remain the property of the School Owner. We do not claim ownership over your data.
By using the Platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your data solely as necessary to provide the Platform's services.
Collection, use, and protection of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
School Owners may export their school's data (student records, attendance, payment history) in PDF report format from within the app at any time during an active subscription.
School Owners who activate the face-scan attendance feature represent and warrant that:
We provide the technical means for biometric data storage and matching. School Owners bear full responsibility for obtaining and documenting valid consent. We are not liable for any failure by a School Owner to obtain proper consent.
The mydrivingschool application, including its source code, design, user interface, logos, trademarks, and all content created by us, is owned by mydrivingschool and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Platform or any part of it without our prior written consent.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or feature requests, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that feedback into the Platform without obligation to you.
The Platform integrates with the following third-party services:
Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service provider.
The Platform may display links to school-owned external websites (Google Maps pages, Google Review pages, school websites). We have no control over and are not responsible for the content of those external websites.
We aim to provide reliable, high-availability service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control (including Firebase outages, internet disruptions, etc.).
We reserve the right to add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice for significant changes.
The app supports limited offline operation (cached student data). Offline-recorded attendance is queued and synced when connectivity is restored. We are not liable for data loss arising from sync failures due to prolonged network unavailability or device issues.
We do not warrant that:
School Owners are responsible for maintaining their own backup records as required by law or regulation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, mydrivingschool and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless mydrivingschool and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
School Owners may request account termination at any time by emailing support@mydrivingschool.in. No refunds are issued for the remaining subscription period. We will confirm data deletion within 30 days of a verified termination request, subject to legal retention obligations.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
Where feasible, we will provide notice before termination and an opportunity to remedy the breach, except in cases involving security threats or illegal activity.
Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Data retention and deletion will proceed as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Before initiating any formal dispute process, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support@mydrivingschool.in and allowing 30 days for resolution.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian consumer protection legislation.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to School Owners via their registered email address at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account termination.
